All of our monies raised goes directly towards funding the needs of the Unit. Maintaining the high standards of care in the PICU requires frequent investment.

Travel cot for visiting siblings
Under £100 Comfy chairs for parents
Oxygen Head boxes (maintains required oxygen levels for babies)
Under £500 Bedside trolleys
Sofa for waiting room
Biliblanket (for the treatment of neonatal jaundice)
Digital camera and printer for the Bereavement team.
Electronic games for the older children
Under £1000 Apnoea Alarms (to detect breathing in babies)
Sofa bed and Beds for the family accommodation

Making a tax-free donation through payroll giving
Remembering Friends of PICU in your will.
A legacy gift to Friends of PICU is exempt from Inheritance tax and it could bring the total estate below the the threshold for Inheritance tax, as gifts to charities are deducted first and the remainder is liable to tax. Please think about this option as you may prefer to give it to Friends of PICU rather than the Government!
